The Cardiothoracic Compendium was founded in 2021 by Georgia R. Layton who is a surgical trainee in cardiothoracic surgery, currently training in the East Midlands, UK. It is a social media driven learning platform which is intended to be developed into an invaluable resource for staying atop of landmark, controversial or clinically important research, past and present, relevant to those with an interest in cardiac and thoracic surgery.

The first of its kind in our specialty, we aim to develop this into a helpful FRCS(CTh) revision resource.
